The Senior Manager of Remote Access Security will lead a team responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our remote access systems and processes. This role involves defining and implementing security policies, managing the use of secure remote access tools, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cybersecurity, particularly in remote access security, and a solid background in leading security engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement remote access security strategies, policies, and procedures.Lead and develop a team of security experts, offering mentorship and support.Lead all aspects of the deployment, integration, and initial configuration of all new security solutions and improvements to existing security solutions.Conduct regular security assessments and audits of remote access systems to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security standards.Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems to identify potential security incidents.Respond to and investigate security incidents related to remote access, including investigation and mitigation.Collaborate with other IT and business teams to ensure seamless integration of remote access security measures.Keep up-to-date on security threats and technologies, and propose improvements to strengthen security posture.Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on the status of remote access security.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Equivalent work experience also accepted.5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably with a focus on remote access security.3+ years of experience in a managerial or leadership role.Solid grasp of remote access technologies (RDP, VNC, etc.) and security standard methodologies.Experience with security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).Proficiency in using security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM).Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm in challenging circumstances.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
