Senior Manager - Reliability

Job overview and responsibilities



Lead the Reliability team, responsible for fleet and system trend analysis and performance, root cause analysis, chronic aircraft identification, and reliability data standards and coding. Facilitates cross-department collaboration between Reliability and other Tech Ops departments to enable fleet reliability. Responsible for professional development of a team consisting of multiple direct reports and an overall team of approximately 25 aviation professionals. Responsible for ensuring alignment of resources and deliverables in support of strategic reliability initiatives.

Lead a team of reliability engineers and analysts, developing quality processes and ensuring alignment of resources and deliverablesInterface with internal partners ensuring effectiveness and benefits of the reliability program is realizedFocus on professional growth and development of team membersResponsible for preparing and presenting performance trends, root cause analysis and corrective actions to all levels of management and regulatory agencies (FAA, DOD, etc.)

This position is offered on local terms and conditions. Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded. This position is for

Bachelors degreeAviation related field or equivalent work experience in aviation industryMinimum of 8 years of aircraft/reliability engineering or equivalent work experience with 3 years of management experienceKnowledge of reliability or maintenance program analysisStrong communication skills (both written and oral)Strong organizational skillsStrong analytical problem solving and trouble shooting skillsAbility to travel 10-15% on averageMust be legally authorized to work in India for any employer without sponsorshipMust be fluent in English (written and spoken)Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the positionWhat will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):Masters degree5 Year leading an airline reliability programKnowledge of reliability program and regulations, industry innovation and strong understanding of the interfaces between multiple workstreams at an airlineProven organization and leadership skills in a cross functional team with ability to build, lead and maintain strong, productive teams and working relationships with internal stakeholders and external customersWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
