SUMMARY: The primary responsibility for this position is to achieve growth in EBIT and sales volume. This includes managing ROS available inventory and other targeted objectives as defined by the Senior Director of Margin Management for Fresh Poultry.

This position is responsible for the facilitation of all activities necessary to achieve sales and profit objectives in designated product and part categories to ensure sustainable profit for Tyson Foods. This includes working closely with Brand management to manage all aspects of the products, such as feasibility, new product development, inventory and fill rate management, packaging, distribution area velocity, cost, and profitability. This position will directly oversee Fresh Poultry packaging management for all substrates within including pre-printed film bag, corrugate, and master cases.

Other responsibilities include:

Alignment of written specification, finished product standards with customer expectationsAssisting in packaging development, product re-formulations, preparing, and overseeing the execution of a margin management strategyUnderstanding pricing strategyCoordinating new product launches with all necessary groupsTraining internal and external personnelAssisting the brand management team in problem-solving and answering complaintsManaging available inventory and other responsibilities as the need arises.Will be the principal Project Manager for all Fresh Poultry Margin Management activities, core and critical to keeping the Fresh Poultry Team aligned on margin accretive initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent required. MBA or Project Management experience preferred.

Experience: 4-6 years in a related field.

Computer Skills: Very proficient in computer and internet skills.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

Travel: Ranges from 4 to 11 trips per year.

Supervisory: This position is responsible for supervising personnel who perform somewhat identical or related tasks or activities.
