**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Leads the development and implementation of the purchasing strategy for a raw materials portfolio worth over 90 million Euros.
+ Negotiates and formalizes contracts at lowest Total Cost of Ownership for sub-categories.
+ Develops a strong knowledge of the raw materials.
+ Develops a strong understanding of the market and monitors competitive factors.
+ Contributes to Market Intelligence reporting.
+ Effective Communication with colleagues & business partners – Local & Global on sourcing and market developments.
+ Leads a portfolio of suppliers with Compliance and Supply Chain team to ensure their successful delivery in terms of punctuality, lead times and quality.
+ Qualify news suppliers and introduce new raw materials in full compliance with internal processes.
+ Build strong relationship with internal stakeholders.
+ Generates new ideas to deliver substantial savings, cash and simplicity.
+ Owns the Budget, RAF and Forward Looking Cost for the defined perimeter.
**You bring:**
+ **Master’s degree** in Economics, Business, Purchasing or Finance.
+ **7-10 year** experience in sourcing/procurement of chemicals, aroma chemicals or any commodity market.
+ Ability to travel and frequent interaction with suppliers.
+ Experience in global business is a strong asset.
+ Solid purchasing know-how on strategic sourcing process including negotiation.
+ Self-starter, independent and able to work in a global team environment.
+ Resilience, accountability and rigor are a must-have
+ Very proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); basic ERP & Query skillset; SAP experience preferred.
+ **Fluent written and spoken in English** , and other languages a plus.
