Senior Manager PLM

If you already have a Candidate Account, please Sign-In before you apply.** **Job Description:** The PLP (Physical Layer Products) division of Broadcom designs and develops ethernet and PCIe PHYs for high speed communications over copper and optical media. We service customers in the cloud networking, enterprise, service provider, automotive and industrial market segments. **Key job duties and responsibilities** The senior manager role will be responsible for all marketing and applications activities related to the automotive and industrial segments. Responsibilities include managing the entire product life cycle from definition of market needs to the product definition and leading the project management activities of developing the chip and delivering a production qualified device to the end customers. This person will also lead the automotive PLM group (3-4 PLMs). Additional responsibilities include managing the financial metrics of this segment, developing a competitive roadmap, pricing strategy, managing strategic partnerships and agreements and competitive analyses. Relationships at automotive OEMs and Tier1s is highly desirable. **Minimum and preferred qualifications** Minimum of 15 years of overall experience of which a minimum of 5 years is in management. Preference of minimum 15 years of relevant experience with Ethernet PHYs and switches. Prior interaction and relationships at the automotive OEMs and Tier 1s is required. **Required skills and competencies** Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills is a key requirement. Technical knowledge of ethernet/PCIe switches, PHYs and MCUs. Ability to engage with strategic customers in long term relationships is needed. **Additional Job Description:** **Compensation and Benefits** The annual base salary range for this position is $143,400 - $229,500 This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
