Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager- Accounts Receivables

In this role, We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager for Accounts Receivables to join our team. This role requires expertise in managing the end-to-end accounts receivables process, ensuring seamless operations and financial accuracy. In this role you are required to analyse processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance the AR process and improve overall financial performance.
Provide strategic insights and data-driven recommendations to optimize receivables and cash flow, Mentor and develop a high-performing team, ensuring professional growth and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Implementation
• Execute strategic plans to enhance team efficiency and productivity, working with leadership to devise future team plans.
• Monitor and predict forthcoming demand levels, and adjust resources as needed.
• Create team performance goals in line with the department’s strategic plans.
• To own and manage end-to-end AR processes with minimum supervision.
• Alignment to business goals set forth and drive teams accordingly


Manage Process, Metrics, Governance, Controls for surprise free Operations:
• Develop and implement strategies to refine the accounts receivables process to best in class
• Set monthly cash collections targets, collection efficiency, and overall cash management in alignment with business goals.
• Responsible and accountable for all the activities related to AR domain including credit customer master management, Billing Invoicing, and collections
• Reviewing the strategic policy and aligning with the business.
• Review and approve any exceptions on dispute plan/exceptions and for credit limit increases as per the policy
• Support strong customer relations business acumen
• Manage Client escalations, Process independently and with minimum supervision.
• Active participation in Daily/weekly/Monthly meetings to ensure process issues are well addressed.
• Identify risks and opportunities that affect the performance of the business, convert them into analytical solutions, and offer actionable insights.
• Ability to meet outlined and expected standards of timeliness and accuracy in completion of work, through prioritization of team tasks and meeting Service level agreements (SLA’s)
• Show inefficiencies or bottlenecks in the process and implement improvements or automation solutions.
• Confirm that proper escalation procedures are followed according to established business practices.
• Should be able to communicate effectively with team management, identify issues and concerns that may affect the job's performance, and communicate the same to leadership.
• Participate in governance meetings at country / region level; Closely collaborate with the team and ensure the right collaboration with the team members properly to meet the deliverables and motivate help them to develop the process standards.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and audit requirements
• Partner with Human Resources to manage client engagement staffing levels, develop employees, manage performance issues and/or gaps, succession planning and employee retention
• Exposure to Lean Six Sigma training preferred, drive team to continuously improve in key operational metrics, analytical mindset to find QPA/RPA opportunities and work with LDT team for implementation.
• Ensure productivity commitment has been met as per contractual commitments

Team Management and Development:
• Lead and coach team responsible for day-to-day operations and ensure defined metrics are met with zero surprises. Manage relevant data to support metrics / performance.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance team knowledge and skills in the assigned scope of work.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Work with HR and leadership teams in resource planning including resource retention and skill development.
• Work with HR and other relevant teams in resolving team conflicts.
• Work with Training teams to develop Training plan to update team skills and to ensure team is up to date on new skill required from time to time.
• Work with leadership teams in resource planning and team allocations to different sub processes on the floor.
• Drive yearly performance review of the team and provide constructive feedback for betterment.

Risk Management:
• Manage and implement appropriate process controls to protect SHI against risk.
• Educate team on potential risks and how to mitigate such risks.
• Ensuring appropriate access controls data privacy

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or equivalent
• Work experience in the relevant field
• Manager of Managers experience
• Must have a Problem-solving attitude.
• Excellent communication (Written Verbal) presentation skills mandatory
• Ability to execute strategic plans to enhance team efficiency and productivity.
• Demonstrates decision-making abilities.
• Ability to sustain and manage professional relationships.
• Demonstrates empathy and patience while communicating and managing team performance. Provides clear and constructive feedback and coaching.
• Ability to inspire and motivate the team.
• Able to make tough decisions, particularly when assessing team performance.
• Must have strong reporting skills and can analyze and present data clearly.
• Proficiency in using MS office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Exhibits flexibility in response to changing demands and situations.
• Able to delegate tasks effectively to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of team output.
• Ability to find and nurture talent, guiding individuals and enabling career growth/ enhancement.
• You should show clear direction, goals, and communicate effectively.
• Prepares and delivers information in a clear and concise manner, adapting style depending on the audience. Taking clear ownership of subject matter and agreed actions.
• Proven experience in managing team activities and achieving successful outcomes.
• Good analysis skills, and are comfortable with Excel and PBI
• Familiar with IT products, hardware and software, hands-on ERP, preferably Microsoft AX, MS Dynamics.
• Understanding or hands-on experience in implementing automation through Macro, RPA, or other AI tools.
