Serves as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and South America. AdventHealth Orlando houses one of the largest Emergency Departments and largest cardiac catheterization labs in the country. We are already one of the busiest hospitals in the nation, providing service excellence to more than 32,000 inpatients and 125,000 outpatients each year **Job Summary:** The Sports Medicine Senior Manager is responsible for overseeing and leading the Central Florida Division athletic training staff and ensuring the Partnership medical integration plan is executed. This senior manager will lead the creation and implementation of innovative medical models, programs and services that will provide revenue and will elevate AdventHealth as a leading sports medicine program. They will actively participate in the Central Florida Division Sports Medicine Counsel, working closely with physicians and clinicians to develop medical protocol, care plans and compliance. They will provide clinical treatment for athletes and provide regular and timely communication to leadership team regarding Partner medical team, physician leader concerns or comments. This leader will be responsible for maintaining positive relationships with Partner medical teams, physicians and AdventHealth teams. They are responsible for analyzing ROI and forecasting volume. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. **You Will Be Responsible For:** + Leads the partnerships sports medicine program and execution across the Central Florida division + Oversees daily clinical operations of strategic partnerships. + Directs the recruitment, retention, training, and competence of athletic training staff. Ensures the accuracy, timeliness, reliability, frequency, level-of-detail of staff work product. + Builds and maintains relationships across multiple disciplines to achieve common goals. + Leads medical services with sports partners medical staff across the Central Florida Division + Collaborates on the creation and implementation of innovative medical models, programs and services to support Partnerships strategy in collaboration with other clinical, operational and business units. + Oversees sports concussion program/physician practice and team. Ensures practices staff and self-compliance with FH Compliance Plan, rules and regulations of all local, state and federal agencies, and with the standards of all accrediting bodies and payers as evident through documentation reviews, and patient safety rounds results. Directs integration into sports partnerships and the continuum of care and provides leadership for the hospital service/program. + Actively participates in the Central Florida Division Sports Medicine Counsel, working closely with physicians and clinicians on medical protocol, care plans and compliance.
