Senior Manager of Sales Planning

You will: + **Annual & Quarterly Planning:** + Work collaboratively with the VP of Sales and Senior Director of Commercial Strategy to develop an annual sales plan to meet company objectives + Working with Demand Planner & VP of Sales, reforecast gross sales projections quarterly to update leadership on achievement of company gross and volume objectives. + Oversee planning process for volume and trade plan entry. + **Delivering Performance & Forecast Insights:** + Chief sales liaison to regular S&IOP process, diagnosing drivers of sales driven changes, performance versus forecast, & consumption’s connection to topline + Track account level performance vs. Annual targets + Ensure new item launches are meeting forecast using measured channel data (Nielsen and Spins) and shipment data + Provide informed sales team point of view on how customer growth & trade plans are performing versus expectations + Work collaboratively with the Operations team to ensure strong customer service levels through accurate and prompt forecast updates + **Trade Operations & Actualization:** + Manage accrual process, deductions matching, and trade actualization in partnership with internal and central finance teams + In partnership with Commercial Strategy & Insights Team, diagnose year-to-date trade results and learnings + **Overseeing Sales Administration & Planning Execution:** + Manage Sales Administrator in the volume and trade entry in the TPM system. + Oversee sales planner execution checks by Sales Administrator and relevant account managers + Work with central Venture’s sales organization for account level volume planning + Propose the development, adaptation and/or changes to the company’s current planning process. **About You** The requirements of the role are: + Dynamic, hands-on leader with demonstrated success as both a top-performing CPG salesperson and as a leader on winning teams. + Deep understanding of the planning process for natural or premium products and high growth consumer packaged goods brands. + Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing sales and trade planning across all channels of trade + Extensive experience developing and executing highly impactful selling strategies. + Adept at fostering strong partnerships with finance, operations and marketing to develop a cohesive strategy that meets all company objectives. + Fluent in Microsoft Office and excel The base salary range for this position is $137,300 to $188,825; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
