Overview How You’ll Make an Impact As the Manager of Accounting, you will play a critical role in the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. You’ll lead a small, high-performing team of accountants and directly oversee daily accounting activities and the month-end close process. Your leadership will drive continuous improvements in our processes, enhance the quality of financial reporting, and support compliance through detailed analytics and operational oversight. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, support ERP upgrades, manage intercompany transactions, and contribute to the financial strength and strategic goals of the company through sound accounting practices and automation initiatives. What You’ll Achieve Oversee corporate accounting functions including fixed assets, capital software, purchase orders, job coding, and cash transactions Administer complex intercompany transactions—from contract review through billing and collections Manage accounting for complex IT transactions, including expense and cost allocations Prepare, review, and approve journal entries with a focus on accuracy and timeliness Perform and/or review reconciliations for balance sheet accounts, ensuring compliance with SOX controls Provide accounting support and documentation during SOX, internal, and external audits Collaborate with other departments to coordinate accounting for chargebacks and other shared transactions Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team, including remote staff Drive automation, streamline processes, and support financial systems and ERP upgrades Deliver financial analysis and reporting to support leadership decision-making Who You Are Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 8–15 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls High Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial systems (e.g., SAP, Blackline, Hyperion Essbase) Proven ability to lead, manage, and develop accounting professionals Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail Effective written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities by working both independently and collaboratively to meet project deadlines Preferred Qualifications: CPA certification Preferably coming out of a Public CPA firm Experience working in a publicly traded company Familiarity with SOX compliance and audit processes Background in supporting ERP upgrades and process transformation initiatives Experience managing remote employees Click here to view how Epsilon transforms marketing with 1 View, 1 Vision, 1 Voice.
