Gilead’s therapeutic areas of focus include HIV/AIDS, liver diseases, cancer, inflammation, and serious respiratory conditions.    **The Position**   Market Access is a highly strategic function with broad cross-functional interaction across the local and global Gilead organization. Our Market Access team has the main goals to (1) ensure that patients have national and regional access to our products and (2) to maximize product (pipeline) value and to (3) ensure that our (pipeline) studies reflect German data needs.   The Senior Market Access will significantly contribute to these goals by defining and implementing comprehensive market access strategies with a focus on our products within Cell Therapy and Oncology. The Senior Market Access manager is collaborating with several internal and external partners, working in cross-functional teams and creating solutions for complex national and regional Market Access topics including the AMNOG process as well as pricing and reimbursement. Hence, excellent technical and social skills are important.    **Essential Duties and Job Functions**   + Leading and supporting preparations for the AMNOG process (early advice meetings, value dossierpreparation, oral hearings) + Conducting pricing exercises, contributing to price negotiations with GKV-SV + Providing input intoclinical development to ensure optimal reimbursement and launch readiness for the respective product. + Advice on biostatistical needs, with a focus on AMNOG + Ensuring pricing analysis and modelling, support of price databases   + Design, conduction and publication of HEOR studies, including RWD + Collaboration with local Market Access, Medical, Regulatory, Government and Public Affairs colleagues, Global HEOR and Value & Access colleagues.    **Knowledge, Experience and Skills**   + Master’s degree in Biostatistics and profound knowledge in Market Access  + 3+ years of experience in Biotech, Pharma or healthcare organizations with a focus on Market Access + Excellent understanding and application of statistical methods defined by G-BA and IQWiG  + Outstanding analytical, methodological, and strategic capabilities  + Good understanding of Market Access processes, especially the AMNOG process  + HEOR skills (e.g., design and conduction of HEOR studies, modelling) are a plus + Good understanding of German health care system, ideally knowledge aboutinternational health care system archetypes  + Excellence in developing, driving and implementing projects in cooperation with internal and external parties   + Recognized team player fostering an inclusive work environment + Competitive mindset combined with a humble, learning agility + Good writing and presentation skills   + Excellent knowledge of German and English  **Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)** It is the policy of Gilead Sciences, Inc. and its subsidiaries and affiliates (collectively "Gilead" or the "Company") to recruit select and employ the most qualified persons available for positions throughout the Company.
