Position Summary

Global Supply Chain HR Professionals use Leadership, HR, and Business Acumen to lead all facets of HR for site operations. This may include developing, implementing, and coordinating policies, employee relations, restructuring programs, salary and wage administration, manpower planning, recruitment, orientation, benefits, employee development, engagement, training, and safety.  
They must be data-driven, planned, organized, and biased toward continuous improvement, both individually and organizationally. All HR positions are expected to partner with leadership to represent the HR function, our policies, and our Core Values. They may also be asked to provide HR guidance for additional locations as needed.  
 

Principal Responsibilities

•    Organization Capability - Proactively manages performance and team dynamics to ensure that a fair, professional and high-performance environment, aligned with company values, is maintained. •    Plan and execute an annual HR roadmap for the leadership team and workforce. The roadmap should focus on enhancing organizational capability and building a compelling employee value proposition. 
•    Develop, plan, and implement human resource policies and processes for the facility, including organizational planning and development, employee recruitment and retention, performance management, compensation structures, employee relations, culture building, benefit programs, safety health, training and professional development. Manage processes to ensure cost-effectiveness, market competitiveness, and internal equity among employees.
•    Provide guidance to leaders on evaluating department structures and team plans to continuously improve the group's efficiency and effectiveness.
•    Provide coaching to site management regarding personnel, leadership, performance management, and development activities.
•    Lead a comprehensive performance management process that includes goal setting, performance appraisals, talent reviews, performance calibration sessions, coaching and feedback, wage and salary structure, pay policies, and career development.
•    Coordinate activities related to the administration and maintenance of employee benefits programs for the facility.
•    Manage and execute the recruitment, orientation, and retention program. Develop staffing strategies and implement plans to identify talent for future positions within and outside the organization.
•    Assist in developing appropriate policies and programs for managing business issues such as sexual harassment prevention, employee complaints, training and development, and career development.
•    Ensure that the company follows all employment law requirements. 
•    Adhere to and ensure compliance with the Teleflex Code of Conduct, all Company policies, rules, procedures, and housekeeping standards

Principal Responsibilities Cont.

•    Identify opportunities for improvement in HR programs/processes, employee morale, and overall organizational health.  
•    Assist employees with questions, concerns, and guidance in the full range of HR policies, benefits, etc.  
•    May serve as HR contact for the Restructuring Team to ensure employee notifications and exits support our Core Values. Support leadership in manpower planning, including headcount strategies and reductions.  
•    Serve as liaison/coordinator for special projects and programs.
•    Collaborate with Global EH&S (Environmental Health and Safety) to manage workers’ compensation programs, return to work, OSHA logs, and other EH&S activities as needed.
•    Maintain accurate employee status and organizational updates, including new hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, salary adjustments, shift changes, org chart updates, etc., to maintain data integrity within the HRIS and timekeeping systems and to keep personnel files current.
•    As appropriate, lead investigations into employee complaints, personnel issues, ethics complaints, etc.
•    Maintain confidentiality of all employees, applicants, and other discretionary information.
•    Maintain day-to-day processes and standards.
•    Additional duties as requested.
 

Education / Experience Requirements

•    8+ years of working experience in Human Resources or a related field, including demonstrated knowledge of varied aspects of Human Resources and relevant employment regulations (including ADA, FMLA, FLSA, EEO, and Affirmative Action).
•    BS Degree in HR, Business, Psychology required, master’s degree preferred.
•    Human Resources Certification (SHRM or HRCI) preferred.

•    Able to support employees on multiple shifts; ability to be flexible with scheduling outside of normal office hours. Core hours are 8 to 5, but supporting an off shift may occasionally be required.

•    Resourceful and well organized. High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities.
