As a Senior Manager in Guidewire Professional Services, you will empower and lead multiple high-performing delivery teams, ensuring the successful design, configuration, and integration of Guidewire solutions that meet our clients' strategic goals.
Job Description
What you'll do:
Lead and oversee successful Guidewire product implementation, maintenance, and enhancement projects.
Provide techno-functional expertise across at least two Guidewire xCenter modules (e.g., PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter) from end-to-end.
Effectively manage relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
Drive Agile project management methodologies, ensuring efficient delivery and continuous improvement.
Act as a team motivator, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Mentor and guide team leads to effectively managing their respective teams, promoting professional growth and development.
Maintain and grow the customer portfolio, ensuring client satisfaction and identifying new opportunities.
Oversee project scope, timelines, budget, and resource allocation to ensure successful project delivery.
Collaborate with business analysts, architects, developers, and quality assurance teams to define requirements, design solutions, and ensure quality deliverables.
Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging Guidewire technologies to drive innovation.
What you bring:
15+ years of overall IT experience with a minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on experience in Guidewire product implementation (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter, etc.).
Proven experience as a technical delivery leader and project manager/senior manager in large-scale Guidewire projects.
Deep understanding of the Guidewire architecture, data model, and technical components.
Strong proficiency in Gosu scripting, Java/J2EE, XML, Web Services (SOAP/REST)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and related Guidewire cloud offerings is a significant advantage.
Demonstrable knowledge and experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain (e.g., Personal Auto, Property, Homeowners, Commercial Auto, Workers Compensation).
Excellent business communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Experience with Agile Scrum or SAFe methodologies.
Guidewire certification (e.g., Config/Integration ACE) is highly preferred.
Prior experience in a consulting environment is a strong plus.
