The Senior Manager FP&A for Leica is a key business partner for the business, helping improve financial stability and decision making. You will also play a role in some global ad hoc projects as well as implementing process improvements.
This position is part of the Global FP&A Team located in Newcastle upon Tyne and will be on-site. At Leica Biosystems, our vision is to advance cancer diagnostics and improve lives.
You will be a part of the Global FP&A Team and report to the Snr Director Global FP&A, responsible for ensuring that all financial planning and reporting is accurate, business focused and in line with DHR guidelines. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
• Assist with LBS budget, forecasting and actual reporting processes including all related deliverables (Flash reports, FC & Actual Narratives, FC review files, Presidents letter inputs, budget decks, strategy financials).
• Business Partnering for support function leaders, drive projects/investments and cost analysis and help in process improvement
• Develop, implement and maintain a more accurate cost management and headcount reporting and controls process across their corporate functions.
• Work with finance teams locally to ensure FC accuracy across global functions and month end reviews to ensure all spend accurately reported.
• Deploy targets and proactively work with stakeholders across the business to ensure risks are identified and properly counter measured and Global Ad Hoc Projects as
required.
The essential requirements of the job include:
· Degree qualified in a Finance discipline.
· Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
· Experienced in working in an international environment.
· Experience in leading technical programming/software resources and developing talent, to build a high-performance team.
· Track record of success and progression within the Finance function, especially in the areas of financial control, cost management, financial planning and forecasting, system & process improvement.
