The Senior Manager, Finance Transformation serves as a strategic leader responsible for driving enterprise-wide finance modernization and operational excellence. This role oversees process optimization and automation initiatives, leveraging ERP, EPM, data, and advanced tools like Oracle, Alteryx, and Power BI to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. In addition, the position leads cross-functional transformation programs, aligning finance initiatives with broader organizational goals, while ensuring timely execution and measurable outcomes. By fostering innovation, adaptability, and continuous improvement, the Sr. Manager also mentors and develops high-performing teams, building future-ready capabilities across the finance function.
Lead Financial Transformation InitiativesCollaborate across teams to execute & support high-impact transformation initiatives that align with broader organizational strategies ensuring on-time, on-budget, and on-scope deliveryBuild strategic partnerships with stakeholders (e.g., DT, Finance) to ensure seamless integration of finance transformation initiatives with enterprise-wide objectivesOversee transformation roadmap & milestones, ensuring timely delivery and providing regular progress updates to senior leadershipDefine and monitor KPIs to measure progress, outcomes, and valueAct as a transformation leader, fostering a culture of innovation, adaptability, and continuous improvement across the organization
Drive Enterprise-Wide Process Optimization and AutomationLead cross-functional collaborations to assess and redesign finance processes, focusing on simplification, standardization, and end-to-end optimization to align with organizational goalsChampion the adoption of ERP, EPM, data, and advanced automation tools (e.g., Oracle, Alteryx, Power BI) to enhance operational efficiency and reporting accuracy, driving innovation across financeExecute a forward-looking Finance Transformation strategy, prioritizing cost savings, operational excellence, and scalability

NOTE: This is a hybrid position with a combination of days worked onsite at our Chicago office location and remotely.
QualificationsWhat’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field5+ years of related experience.Experience with finance technologies.Strong understanding of finance processesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiencyExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to both finance and non-finance stakeholdersA highly motivated individual with a strong understanding of how people, processes, data, and technology work together to produce a strong and sustainable capabilityAbility to work with both technical and business user teams to identify and solve issuesComfortable with ambiguity and uncertaintyMust be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorshipSuccessful completion of interview required to meet job qualificationReliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the positionWhat will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):Master's degreeMaster of Business AdministrationExperience in airline or similar industry.Experience in Oracle ERP & EPM solutionsUnderstanding of data and experience with data analytic tools like Alteryx, Power BI, etc.Experience in PMO tools (e.g. Smartsheets, JIRA)
The base pay range for this role is $124,735.00 to $162,388.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
