Why We Have This Role
\nThe Senior Manager of Finance Systems is responsible for overseeing the strategy, implementation, usability, stability, security, and optimization of our core financial systems landscape. This includes NetSuite, Coupa, Concur, Stripe, Divvy, Adaptive, etc... The Senior Manager will also playing a key role in the implementation of new subscription billing and revenue recognition tools, in close collaboration with an implementation partner, and the Finance Systems team will own those platforms after implementation. This role will manage and develop a team of finance systems professionals. The team is committed to owning and managing the company's finance systems through robust governance, expert technical support, process improvement, and the strategic implementation of new functionality to enhance our corporate technology stack, particularly in the order-to-cash lifecycle.\nHow You’ll Find Success
\n\nMaximizing the potential and fostering the growth and development of a talented team of finance systems analysts and administrators.\nDeeply understanding finance, accounting, and quote-to-cash business processes and objectives & owning strategic initiatives that span across multiple departments, including the Transformation Office.\nCollaborating effectively with teams across Finance, Sales, Operations, IT, and with consultants to provide guidance on system best practices, process improvements, and innovative recommendations.\nStaying updated with technology trends, particularly in Finance Systems, ERP solutions, subscription management, and revenue recognition.\nPrioritizing user experience and adoption across all finance systems.\nImplementing effective change management strategies, especially during new system implementations and process renovations.\nMeasuring and tracking systems performance, data integrity, and process efficiency.\nStaying agile and adaptable in a dynamic business environment.\nContinuously learning and growing, both individually and as a team leader.\nWorking closely with leaders in Finance, the Transformation Office, and other IT managers to ensure the entire team is working together towards a unified vision and goals.\n\nHow You’ll Grow
\n\nTaking on increasing managerial and strategic responsibilities as part of a rapidly evolving global organization.\nBroadening business acumen by collaborating with senior leadership and understanding overarching organizational goals, particularly in financial operations and transformation.\nEstablishing and driving system roadmaps and strategic initiatives for the entire finance systems ecosystem.\nSetting goals, tracking progress, and creating action plans for your professional growth and for your team members' career development.\n\nThings You’ll Do
\n\nCollaborate with business stakeholders to understand business needs, define requirements, and resolve system-related issues.\nDevelop and execute the finance systems strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and the quote-to-cash renovation project.\nMentor, coach, and train team members, fostering their growth, development, and career progression at all levels.\nOversee data security, access controls, compliance (including SOX best practices), and risk management for all finance applications.\nPartner closely with an implementation partner, serving as a key technical contributor throughout the design, configuration, testing, and successful rollout of new subscription billing and revenue recognition tools.\nIdentify, design, standardize, simplify, and optimize business processes within and around financial systems.\nDevelop and implement robust internal processes for system changes, testing, and deployments, aligning with development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices and SOX compliance requirements.\nManage relationships with finance system vendors and implementation partners/consultants.\nDetermine and evaluate team capacity and bandwidth to effectively support current systems and new initiatives.\nEncourage and support the career growth and development of your team members.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For On Your Resume: \n\nBachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.\n10+ years of progressive experience managing, supporting, and optimizing a diverse financial systems landscape, including deep expertise in finance systems and significant experience with procure-to-pay, expense management, payment processing, and spend management solutions.\nProven experience leading the implementation of subscription billing and/or revenue recognition systems.\n5+ years of direct people management experience, with a demonstrated ability to build, lead, and motivate high-performing technical teams and foster employee career growth.\nStrong understanding of quote-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and record-to-report processes.\nDemonstrated experience in standardizing and simplifying complex system landscapes and business processes.\nProficiency in building and maintaining internal processes that align with the development lifecycle and SOX compliance best practices.\nExperience in working with external consultants.\nExcellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.\nProfessional English fluency required\n\nWhat You Should Know About This Team\n\nCompany-wide impact: The finance systems are critical to the company's operations and financial integrity.
