As Senior Manager Denmark you are responsible for the affiliates in the country, and you are part of the bigger FC&A EMEA community. **Your key responsibilities** • Lead and manage the Danish FC&A team (3-4 FTE) and related portfolio of entities to achieve business objectives. • Responsible for Statutory Financial Statements, external / internal audit and compliance. • Ensure the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting and analysis for the Danish entities and continuously improve processes to achieve top quartile performance. • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence in the FC&A team. • Collaborate closely with Financial Shared Services, FP&A, Business Units, and Centres of Expertise (e.g., tax and treasury) to ensure alignment and integration of financial activities across Denmark. • Develop and implement the financial control strategy for Denmark in collaboration with the FC&A Leadership Team. • Responsible for delivering and understanding the actual financial results and statements of financial position for the Danish portfolio (OWC, Revenue, GM, OPEX, EBITDA, APMs, and Net Income). • Manage internal and external stakeholders **We offer** • Being part of a highly skilled and collaborative FC&A community, where expertise, compliance, and financial governance ensure operational excellence. • Engaging in diverse and complex financial challenges, contributing to regulatory compliance, statutory reporting, process excellence, and continuous improvement across the organization. • The opportunity to work for a highly socially company where sustainability is much more than a claim and is core to our strategy and purpose • Career development opportunities with great opportunities to learn and grow • To be part of a company shaping a strong legacy through breakthrough industrial innovations and technology **You bring** • Master’s degree in finance, Financial Control and Accounting, or a related field • Minimum 9 years of relevant working experience in financial control, accounting, and analysis. • Previous work experience in Denmark, specifically related to local compliance and DK-GAAP. • Demonstrated track record of achieving financial targets, improving financial processes, and delivering results in a complex and dynamic business environment. • Proactive, self-motivated, and resilient, with a drive for continuous learning and growth. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across functions and levels. • Strong knowledge of financial control processes, IFRS principles, and statutory requirements. **At dsm-firmenich, we don’t just meet expectations – we go beyond them** Join our global team powered by science, creativity, and a shared purpose: to bring progress to life.
