This position is for a Senior Manager - Engineering within Cat Technology India. In this position, you will have the following responsibilities:
+ Support & lead global teams developing on-board technology systems, site simulation, data analytics and validation.
+ Managing the engineering staff and activities with an emphasis on organizational goals achievement, professional development, and continuous improvement.
+ Supervising, recruiting, mentoring, and developing a staff of over 250+ Caterpillar engineers in India & Australia. This Role has direct reports in India and Australia.
+ Monitoring and continuously improving product and process performance, quality and cost-effectiveness for all engineering activities and deliverables.
+ Executing day to day management activities aligned with strategy and business plan, including ownership of internal and external partner relationships.
**Education Requirement**
+ Requires a degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical, Electronics, Robotics Engineering)

**Top Candidates Will Also Have:**
+ Prior experience developing Electronic Systems / Technology Solutions for Construction and Mining Equipment
+ Ability to understand both technology and business domains
+ Strong customer focus and ability to influence
+ Experience with adjacent process and tools in simulation
+ Familiarity with Agile methodologies or formal project management practices.
+ Proven ability to lead or collaborate with global teams.
+ Direct experience working with or alongside software vendors or service providers.
+ Background in engineering or product development roles with NPI exposure.
**Additional Information:**
This position requires the candidate to work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office.
