As a critical member of the Value-Added Services division within the Issuing Solutions Product organization, this role will be responsible for
The ongoing product development and expansion of the GCAS Travel and Digital suite of products which power personalized cardholder communications, for both Visa and our card issuer clients globally. This role involves spearheading the development of new features, improving existing ones, and ensuring the overall functionality of the product.
Key activities include:
Leading the product effort to build and manage our roadmap and backlog.
Defining business requirements and translating them into product features.
Working closely with the development teams to find solutions around challenges.
Overseeing the validation and user acceptance testing of new functionality.
Managing the agile development process, facilitating meetings, and addressing obstacles.
Acting as the subject matter expert and liaison between US product and Bangalore development teams.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Product Development: Translate product strategy into detailed and actionable product development efforts for GCAS and Travel suite of products.
Process Improvement: Establish, document, and refine development and operational processes for the product.
Product Engagements: Lead close collaboration with project management and operations to ensure product development tasks are completed on agreed deadlines.
Operational Activities: Collaborate with business and technology teams to ensure the systems are operating as expected, resolving issues, and coordinating activities.
Product Requirements: Evaluate market demands and lead the development of detailed product requirements, specifications and enhancements.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
The location for this position will be based in Foster City, CA.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhDStrong leadership, verbal, written, and presentation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office/CRM, Visio, PowerPoint, tools like Jira/Rally Strong attention to detail. Strong project and stakeholder management skillsHigh level of comfort with data, files, and technical communication. Collaborative working style. Experience in Agile development Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve conflicts and ensure team collaboration. Risk Management: Ability to identify potential risks and devise strategies to mitigate them Ability to work independently and with broad instructions.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 159,100.00 to 230,900.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
