Senior Manager Digital Analytics

The Senior Manager of Analytics Implementation  will oversee the strategy and execution of data collection and analytics across ADI's digital team. This role is pivotal in building the foundation to advanced tracking capabilities that empower the business to measure, optimize, and enhance digital marketing efforts effectively.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business, product, and development teams to gather, refine, and prioritize data capture/tagging requirements. Develop technical specifications for implementation by internal teams and third-party agencies. Manage and update the analytics roadmap to align with business goals. Oversee data governance efforts, ensuring consistent data quality over time, and manage the tag management system, including all third-party tagging requests. Lead ADI's data implementation efforts, identifying opportunities to optimize audience insights, content strategies, site experience, and digital advertising. Establish and enforce best practices and frameworks for scaling and maintaining Google Analytics implementations globally. Innovate tracking and tagging strategies to capture both online and offline customer interactions. Oversee solution design for data capture across all ADI digital properties and platforms. Document and communicate implementation requirements for digital campaigns and new web pages. Liaise with vendors to stay informed on new capabilities and optimize data collection techniques. Propose solutions to integrate various data sources, offering a more comprehensive view of the audience and customer journey. Assist in evaluating analytics vendors and contracts to ensure the best tools and solutions are in place. Mentor and grow direct reports. Continiously monitor innovation, new technologies, and new approaches in the field to evolve ADI’s capabilities and practices as applicable. 

YOU MUST HAVE:

Solid experience in web analytics, focusing on measurement design and analytic tool implementation. In-depth knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. Proven experience in managing analytics implementations, including hands-on experience with migrating from Google Universal Analytics to GA4, configuring enhanced measurement, custom event tracking, and utilizing GA4’s data model. 2+ years of experience with managing direct reports

WE VALUE:

Expertise in setting up and troubleshooting GTM containers, data layer implementation, and custom tag development (including JavaScript troubleshooting) Comfort with using browser debugging tools and network monitors to troubleshoot tracking issues. Experience with multi-channel tracking environments, mobile app analytics, server-side and client-side tagging  Advanced proficiency in data aggregation and consolidation from multiple sources. Technical proficiency with internet technologies, including in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to effectively implement and debug tracking code. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications. Analylics implementation certifications from Google, Adobe, or similar
