We are looking for a Senior Manager, Data Engineering Development to join United Data Engineering team. This role would be part of a team that is responsible for enterprise-wide Data analytics environment. In addition to requiring a high level oftechnical expertisein building enterprise widebig datainfrastructure, you will work closely with peerbusinessteams Analytics team toinnovatearoundbusinessprocesses. Ideal candidates will have expertise in all phases of data software lifecycle management processes.

As a senior manager, you will play a key role leading a team of engineers who will look to you for advice on technical andbusinesschallenges. You will guide the team and insist on highest standards for quality, maintainability, and performance. You will ensure that engineering best practices are followed and thedata systemsare designed to be highly available, scalable. You will set the strategic direction as well as own and prioritize goals for your team. Successful candidates will be high-bandwidth leaders who can cut through the noise, simplify relentlessly, deliver results, and build great teams around themselves.

Collaborate with and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions in full-stack development tools and technologiesWork with a team of developers with deep experience inbig datatechnology, distributed systems and business intelligence toolsUtilize programming languages likeJava,Scala,Pythonand NoSQL databases andCloudbaseddata warehousingservices such asRedshiftUtilize tools like Power BI Desktop, DAX Studio, and Power Query to develop and optimize data models in PowerBI. Lead reviews of PBI models, solution strategies to ensure best practices to integrate BI solutions with current data platforms. Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learningnew technologies, participating in internal external technology communities, and mentoring other members of the engineering communityPerform unit tests and conducting code reviews with other team members to make sureapplication developmentand architecture standards are met, code is developed using best practices
