Job Description

As Senior Manager Group Consolidation & Reporting you work on the creation of the consolidated financial figures of Royal Philips. You will be part of a team of experts, combining strong accounting and reporting knowledge with a thorough understanding of processes and reporting systems (SAPr/3, BCS). You will do analyses on financial figures, coordinate reporting processes, own an area of reporting expertise and start/ensure corrective actions are taken where necessary. Teamwork will be intense; our processes are smart and efficient, and our output is instantly used throughout the finance function. You will work with various stakeholders across the globe ranging from Accounting Operations, FP&A and Group Functions (especially Group Legal and Group Tax). Our work is highly valued.

Your role:Support process improvements projects in the functional domain of closing and consolidation.Support the after care of implemented technologies and processes and identify additional value creation opportunities.Support the internal monthly, quarterly and yearly financial reporting and analytical review, focused on the consolidated statements.Participate and contribute in various Topic Teams. A Topic Team brings you together with a Technical Accounting colleague, Accounting Operations representatives, FP&A representatives with knowledge of the different sectors and other finance functions depending on the topic. The Team will discuss the accounting practice on the topic end-to-end, considering accounting processes and internal control framework.
 You're the right fit if:A master’s degree combined with a post-graduate program in finance and accounting.Experience in a consolidation environment of an international stock listed company min 5 years.Strong project management skills.High level of empathy and a strong sense for cultural differences and how to bridge them.Excellent communication and analytical skills, you are able to work accurately and with a structured approach.Experience with ERP solutions (SAP/r3, SAP 4.6, BCS, S4Hanna) and a strong skill set in data analytics.Fluent in English (minimum C1 level).

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.​ Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.​
