Senior Manager Commercial Analytics will lead data-driven decision-making across international markets, producing insights that enhance commercial performance and business growth at Leica Microsystems. This role requires expertise in data analytics, commercial performance reporting, and business strategy to support leadership in making informed decisions. The Senior Manager Commercial Analytics is a key stakeholder in shaping the company's data strategy and will collaborate with cross-functional teams — including IT, sales, marketing, finance, and production — to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business objectives.
This position reports to the Director Global Commercial Operations, is located in Mumbai, India and will be an on-site role.

Shape Commercial Business Intelligence & Analytics
Develop and oversee comprehensive commercial analytics initiatives that optimize sales performance in global marketsCreate and maintain commercial reporting portfolio (dynamic dashboards, reports, and data visualizations) to support strategic commercial initiatives and decision makingUtilize AI, machine learning, and statistical modeling for demand forecasting, predictive analytics, and business planning.Develop Data Engineering & Infrastructure

Lead, mentor and grow international team of Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and BI professionals and establish performance culture focused on accountability and resultsThe essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelors/ Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Finance, or equivalent work experience.Multiple years of team leadership experienceLong-standing experience in commercial analytics, business intelligence, statistical models, and data-driven strategy, ideally within the life science or medical device industryExperience with enterprise data platforms, including ERP (SAP), CRM (SFDC), and CPQ.Strong proficiency in data analytics tools and programming languages such as Python, SQL, Power BI/Fabrics, and advanced Excel modeling.Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams in IT, sales, marketing, finance, and production.It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
