This Business Systems Analyst position will be responsible for building, shaping, and influencing systems and process change to optimize Treasury/Finance capabilities. This is a hands-on role in which you will be engaged in web app development utilizing Python programming language. Specifically, this role will build Treasury applications that will support strategic decision-making including pricing. You will be responsible for investigating, analyzing, and translating business requirements into technical solutions to achieve strategic value add business analysis and reporting. The candidate must be able to develop strong relationships with business and technical teams across the organization, become a subject matter expert, track and manage dependencies across systems, and be energized about an opportunity to deliver automation and solve complex problems. This position requires business / systems analysis discipline, knowledge of workflow design, data governance and an ability to drive alignment toward a shared vision.
What you have
Required Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent5+ years of experience in Process Automation2+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Systems Analyst with software development teamsAccounting and/or Asset Liability Management knowledgeKnowledge of broker dealer and bank risk management capabilitiesExceptional / pragmatic business judgment combined with outstanding communication and relationship skillsHands-on knowledge using tools such as SQL, Python, Tableau and Alteryx.Competent in Agile values, principles, and the Scrum framework. Experience with Agile planning tools such as Jira is a plus including understanding of backlog grooming, tracking, burndown/burn-up charts, & velocity.Experience with data analysis, design and architecture including experience with very large data sets.Ability to understand technical issues and possess strong problem-solving skills.Ability to work hands on with team members to inspire and motivate all levels of staff towards both tactical and strategic delivery goalsOutstanding performer, persistent and pro-active leader, detailed oriented, and driven to exceed expectationsAbility to balance multiple, changing priorities.Preferred Experience:
2+ years of Calypso and PolyPaths experienceExperience with Business Application in a IAAS or Cloud environmentIn addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.
