Senior Manager / Associate Director - Health & Benefits Advisory

We are seeking a talented individual to join our MMB team at Mercer. This role will be based in Hong Kong. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

Manage the scope, quality, timeliness and budget of client deliverables and take the lead in researching, analyzing, and evaluating benefits plans and programs.Monitor benefits utilization and analyze data to recommend improvements & solutionsAssess client needs and organizational goals related to employee benefits.Develop customized flexible benefits plans that align with company culture and budget.Update on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices related to employee benefits.Review the analysts' compilation of health benefits information from a variety of sources .  Handle responses from the carriers and the data in a template (customization depends on client plan types, funding, rate structure, etc.), and review the transparency documents.Interact with clients and develop relationships; involved in developing strategies to meet clients' needs, and take on the role of a trusted advisor.Develop and maintain personal and working relationships with key client stakeholders to transition into the role of a trusted advisor and facilitate the sharing of advice and information relevant to the client, developing new and expanded business, and gaining client referrals.

What you need to have:

7+ years of health & benefits advisory experience (specifically in Health and Life); with minimum of 5 years in health consultancy;Solid knowledge on Health & Benefits as well as insurance brokerage experience;Capable in data and digtial advisory solutionsGood team player with excellent interpersonal skills;Ability to cultivate client relationship and manage challenging client demands;Strong language capabilities in English and Cantonese.
