What is the role about?
As the Senior Manager/Assistant Director of Industrial Engineering at Endress+Hauser Level & Pressure India, you will be at the forefront of Industrial Engineering function. Reporting to the Operations Director of Endress+Hauser Level & Pressure India, you will play a critical role as strategic partner to the leadership teams both at national and international. Your expertise will drive initiatives that support business growth, enhance local production, localization leading to transformative changes. This position offers the opportunity to lead strategies that ensure operational excellence and contribute significantly to the achievement of business growth.
This position will be based in our campus at Waluj MIDC, Ch. Sambhaji Nagar.
Which tasks will you perform?
Strategic Leadership: Lead the Industrial Engineering function, ensuring efficient product industrialization and alignment with global standards. Mentor and develop the Industrial Engineering team to build high-performance capabilities and align with business objectives. Drive the establishment and optimization of manufacturing lines for Level and Pressure instruments, ensuring scalability and quality compliance. Manage annual CAPEX investments of new equipment, upgrades and new product lines. Design factory layouts, optimize material flow, and enhance productivity through data-driven industrial engineering techniques. Lead the development and deployment of digital manufacturing systems such as MES and paperless production workflows.Special Projects: Oversee product transfer projects from global competence centers, ensuring smooth integration of processes, equipment, and technologies. Implement and standardize lean manufacturing practices (Kaizen, CIP, TPM) to drive operational excellence. Ensure compliance with ISO standards including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 18001. Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, and global APCs to harmonize processes and share best practices. Implementation of supporting equipment and processes from product initiation through release to production Support daily business fulfilment through reviewing technically special products, manufacturability, and direct production support. Interpret and explain technical instructions, procedures, and standards Responsible for maintaining global engineering change databases for material and production changes Support and develop production training guides for production processes. Support Expansion project activities.
What do we expect from you?
Experience: Have minimum 20 years. Expertise: in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Operations, preferably in instrumentation or precision manufacturing. Education: Bachelor’s / master’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
• Technical Skills:
Proven experience in industrialization of new products and global production transfers. Strong expertise in CAPEX planning, equipment localization, and facility projects. Deep knowledge of lean manufacturing, process optimization, and operational excellence methodologies. Familiarity with ISO standards and regulatory compliance for manufacturing facilities. Proficiency in SAP PP, MES, and other digital manufacturing tools. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing and developing engineering teams. Action oriented problem solver, individually and cross-functionally Strong analytical and organizational skills Ability to multi-task and prioritize Knowledgeable in continuous improvement methods Technology-driven engineering projects
