We are looking for Senior Manager – Quality

You’ll make a difference by

Develop and implement quality management systems and plans for railway/metro infrastructure projects.Lead and mentor regional quality teams and site QC engineers to ensure proper inspection, testing, and documentation across project stages.Review and approve Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Quality Control Plans (QCPs), and Method Statements submitted by contractors and internal teams.Conduct internal audits, supplier audits, and third-party quality assessments to ensure compliance with contractual and statutory requirements.Coordinate with project managers, engineering, procurement, and site teams to resolve quality issues and NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports).Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Integrated Factory Acceptance Tests (IFAT), and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) for signalling and interlocking systems.Ensure closure of quality observations raised by customers (Railways/Independent Engineers) and internal audits.Generate monthly Quality Dashboards, KPIs, and MIS reports for management.Drive continuous improvement initiatives using RCA (Root Cause Analysis), CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions), and Lean Six Sigma principles.Project Quality Planning: Develop and implement Project Quality Plans aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 22163, and customer requirements.Process Audits & Inspections: Conduct internal audits (ISO 9001, VDA 6.3) and supplier audits to ensure adherence to standards.Defect Management: Monitor non-conformances (NCRs) and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).Continuous Improvement: Implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and 8D Problem-Solving techniques.Supplier & Subcontractor Quality Management: Work closely with vendors to improve their processes, product quality, and compliance.Customer & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure project deliverables meet customer specifications and regulatory compliance (ISO, VDA).Document Control & Reporting: Maintain quality documentation, prepare reports, and support management reviews.

Desired Skills:

Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering (B.E./B.Tech) or Master of Computer Applications Strong understanding of SAP ERP systems & Manufacturing domain knowledgeDeep knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP & Manufacturing Applications (MES, PLM, SCM, QMS, WMS etc.).B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Instrumentation or equivalent.Minimum 12–15 years of experience in Quality Management, preferably in railway signalling, metro infrastructure, Factor or large EPC projects.Experience handling quality in project environments (installation, testing, commissioning).Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, and communication skills.Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 22163 (IRIS) standards.Experience in process improvement, risk management, and supplier quality development.Proficiency in auditing techniques (Internal & Supplier Audits).Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Proficiency in MS Office and other Quality Management tools.
