Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Manager – Facilities Management (Asset Coding Specialist) to join our team! In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of asset coding structures for complex, multi-disciplinary projects. You will ensure asset coding aligns with project delivery, operational needs, and industry standards, while collaborating with design, construction, and operations teams to maintain consistency throughout the project lifecycle. This is an exciting opportunity to play a strategic role in shaping asset management frameworks for large-scale projects.

What You'll Be Doing:

Asset Coding Development:

Lead the development and implementation of asset coding structures for complex, multi-disciplinary projects.

Alignment with Standards:

Ensure asset coding aligns with project delivery, operational needs, and industry standards.

Collaboration Across Teams:

Collaborate with design, construction, and operations teams to maintain coding consistency throughout the project lifecycle.

Framework Review & Enhancement:

Review and enhance existing asset coding frameworks to improve accuracy, traceability, and integration with FM systems.

Strategic Guidance & Mentorship:

Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to FM teams on asset coding best practices.

Stakeholder Communication:

Manage stakeholder communications related to asset coding standards and updates.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Minimum 10–15 years’ experience in Facilities Management with extensive asset coding development experience.

Proven track record of managing asset coding for large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.

Strong knowledge of asset lifecycle management and FM best practices.

Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations.

Knowledge of current technology and how it can be effectively utilized on projects.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Ability to meet Parsons’ project management certification requirements.

Effective leadership skills with the ability to perform in a management capacity.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Familiarity with advanced FM systems and tools.

Experience mentoring and guiding teams on asset coding and lifecycle management.
