What is the opportunity?

As a Senior Manager, Wealth Management Finance, you will be responsible for providing financial advisory support to senior leaders in the Wealth Management Strategy, Products & Digital Investing (SP&D). You will act as the primary contact for the SP&D business, consisting of Global Investments, Credit & Banking Solutions, Digital, Data and AI, Strategy & Transformation and Governance, Regulatory & Performance Management. You will also be responsible for the overall delivery and quality of segment reporting and analysis, relating to the financial and non-financial information contained within monthly and quarterly reports, monthly cost allocations, executive presentations, and other SP&D and Legacy business finance support requirements.

What you will do?

Provide financial analysis support for SP&D including the analysis and reporting of monthly, quarterly and annual financial information for Actuals, Forecast and Plan resultsIn conjunction with the business, develop appropriate and strong allocation metrics of the SP&D Gross NIE to each of the Wealth Management lines of business or other RBC businesses benefiting from the services.

Ensure metrics can be leveraged where possible to allocate costs.

Lead the end-to-end forecast, planning and 5 year outlook process for SP&D.Collaborate with finance colleagues in WM Canada, GAM, USWM, WMI and Asia to ensure optimal processes and information flow are maintained and allocations are understood.Be able to re-prioritize daily in a dynamic and complex environment by being accountable for all deliverables. Certain deliverables will be used by senior executives to make business decisions.Ensure strong controls on financial information including approving accrual and allocation entries and G/L attestations, as well as fulfilling all FRR, FC and Performance Management requirements.Build upon and / or strengthen trusted relationships with various stakeholders through the consistent delivery of quality reporting and analysis that can be relied upon on a regular basis.Assist in the identification and implementation of process streamlining and efficiency opportunities across the Finance team, including but not limited to, the automation of reports and sharing of resources during peak and off-peak time periods.Continue the automation of cost allocation by suggesting and helping implement enhancements to the allocations tools.Provide transactional support to Law and Business Risk & Regulatory teams for the Strategic Execution Program (SEP)/ Legacy businessForecast and planning balance sheet and P&L for SEP/ Legacy businessSupport on horizontal WM Platform inatitiaves and any other ad-hoc requests

What you need to succeed?

Must Have

Accounting or other professional designation (CPA, CFA), or MBA or equivalent5+ years of experience in accounting or finance role within a large organizationCommitment to delivering results under pressure and within tight deadlinesStrong EPM understanding with proven working experienceUnderstanding of cost allocations and the Wealth Management business is an assetStrong analytical and logical thinking skills with attention to detail for consistent and accurate output results.Excellent problem solving and proven analytical skillsAdvanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint.Excellent oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills; specifically able to act as change agent, facilitator and collaboratorSelf-starter – enthusiasm and willingness to learn to get up to speed and stay abreast of constantly evolving developmentsA “one team” mindset and willingness to support and contribute to broader WM PM goals and objectives

Nice to Have

Experience in data management and analysis to generate value-added outputsDemonstrated ability to develop and maintain business tools/ applications to enable report development
