Senior Manager, Venture Capital & M&A at a Glance….
We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Senior Manager, Venture Capital & Mergers and Acquisitions. As a key member of the Kraft Heinz Venture Capital Organization, you will play a critical role in identifying and executing strategic investment opportunities that drive growth and innovation across our portfolio. Additionally, you will provide support to our Mergers and Acquisitions team, leveraging your expertise to help drive deal origination, due diligence, and execution.

On the Venture Capital side, the SM lead a wide range of Corporate VC workstreams including strategic planning, pipeline building, investment execution, and stakeholder management. Kraft Heinz’s venture strategy is primarily a fund of funds approach focused on Food Tech and Sustainability opportunities across Food & Beverage. The Senior Manager will work closely with VC funds to bring investment opportunities, strategic insights, and capabilities to the Kraft Heinz Company. The Senior Manager will also have the opportunity to identify and work with start-ups that are at the forefront of changing the future of food and the food industry.

As a member of the M&A Team the SM will support a wide range of corporate development projects with an emphasis on inorganic strategy (e.g., long-term planning, portfolio strategy, capital allocation), as well as provide support across deals (e.g., acquisitions, divestitures, JV opportunities) by partnering throughout the Kraft Heinz organization and with external advisors. The position requires a combination of analytical ability, communication skills, and intellectual curiosity.

Strategic Internal Engagement – work closely with functional leaders and C-suite execs across the Kraft Heinz organization to unearth opportunities and spark innovation in alignment with corporate goals and strategic initiatives Market Research / Deal Sourcing / Deal Diligence with VC funds – help identify and diligence investment opportunities in existing and new markets, including meeting with various VC funds and therefore related companies in the domain that add strategic value to Kraft Heinz Financial Diligence, Modeling and Team Support – Associate will be responsible to develop financial models, investment committee materials and general fund support Developing and maintaining a robust pipeline of venture capital investment opportunities, with a focus on identifying emerging trends and technologies that align with Kraft Heinz's strategic objectives Thought Leadership — the candidate should aim to be an industry thought leader within Kraft Heinz and externally in the industry Operational Oversight – support operations by developing tools and processes Coordinate project teams including financial, legal, and tax advisers and internal functional teams to execute transactions and other projects Staying abreast of market trends and developments, providing insights and recommendations to inform Kraft Heinz's investment and M&A strategies

Bachelor of Science in a quantitative field (e.g., Economics, Finance, Accounting, etc.) preferred 4+ years of experience with rigorous financial, market and strategic analysis, preferably as an analyst or associate who has completed a robust training program at a top tier investment bank or management consulting firm. Experience in VC and fund of funds investing preferred Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting with entrepreneurs, partners and corporate leaders Strong presentation skills with an ability to present to CEO / public board level audiences Deep sense of ownership over one’s work and results Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, and with limited management and oversight Strong written, oral, analytical, research and analytical skills for analysis

New Hire Base Salary Range:

$118,400.00 – $148,000.00

Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
