We're looking for a Senior Manager to join our Valuation Services practice that prepares objective valuations for financial reporting, tax and management planning purposes.
Day-to-day responsabilities:
Independently perform complex valuation engagements for diverse corporate clients.Oversee daily execution of transactions in secondary markets for limited partnership interests in hedge funds, private equity funds, real estate funds, and shares in private companies.Demonstrate a deep understanding of clients' business models, strategies, and industry challenges.Act as a key interlocutor with clients, listening and analyzing their needs to offer valuable solutions.Efficiently organize engagement work and provide clear guidelines to team members.Supervise and mentor junior staff in analyses, reports, and presentations.Prepare and present engagement deliverables clearly and concisely to clients.Build and maintain client relationships, acting as a direct contact for current and prospective clients.Identify new business opportunities and draft proposals, presentations, and publications for clients.
Essential traits:
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics or an MBA from an accredited college/universityMinimum 5 years of constructing and reviewing valuation models and other financial models including: DCF, comparable company, stock option, and intangible asset modelsCFA and/or CPA professional designations a plusDemonstrated leadership experience including managing and developing client relationships and mentoring and developing staffStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of software packages including MS Word, Excel, and PowerPointExcellent written and verbal communication skills that help represent diverse communitiesExperience working with diverse teams
