Key Responsibilities:

Developing and execute medical plans that are both product specific and disease area focused and in alignment with US Commercial (USC) and Headquarter Medical (HQM), translating appropriate USC and HQM strategies into effective US Medical launch and life cycle management activities.

Implement the pan-asset US Medical strategy for deucravacitinib in Psoriasis, Psoriatic Arthritis, Systemic Lupus Erythematosus and General Rheumatology/Dermatology

Oversee and execute pan-deucravacitinib tactics including advisory boards, medical communication, cross matrix support, and evidence generation  

Active leadership and participation as core member on the US Medical Team and closely collaborating and partnering with worldwide counterparts

Leadership of USM cross-functional medical teams that include USM data generation and knowledge transfer resources to drive timely and flawless execution.

Transparent communication and close collaboration with US Commercial & Access organizations to integrate medical perspectives into the commercialization process and ensure appropriate alignment between commercial and medical.

Externally focused and connected to high impact external influencers in order to identify and translate key insights and to appropriately drive adoption of BMS medicines.

Leadership of TA aligned field-facing resources that provide them with the necessary coaching to ensure customer objectives are met.

Contributes when appropriate to shaping the competitive strategies around pricing and reimbursement by influencing a US perspective for the target product profile, label language and value considerations.

Continually measure and assess the effectiveness of USM medical plans.

Qualifications:

Advanced scientific degree (MD, PhD, PharmD), with at least (1-3) years experience in Medical Affairs/Medical Strategy; formal specialization in areas associated with the current TA portfolio and/or professional experience with assets in this space is preferred.

Candidate should have the ability to speak English. Clinical dermatology and/or rheumatology experience required.  Medical Affairs experience preferred.

Rheumatology and/or dermatology therapeutic area scientific expertise

Must be familiar with all phases of drug development, including clinical development, regulatory and life cycle management.

The starting compensation for this job is a range from $135,750 - $164,500, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility). 

The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed. 

Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
