Senior Manager, Tax Process and Systems Transformation

We are looking for a Tax Technology Senior Manager responsible for leading the implementation of tax technology solutions and driving tax process transformation through development, implementation and execution of tax transformation strategies for Resmed.

Let’s talk about Responsibilities

Represent the Global Tax Team in the Resmed Business Transformation Program designed to redefine and enable our global future operating model. This Program will consolidate numerous legacy ERP systems into a single, cloud hosted Oracle Fusion solution and will also standardize global business processes.

Work closely with Tax, IT, Finance and Business Operations teams to ensure communication and alignment of tax requirements into the ERP and the end-to-end business processes.

Lead and manage tax transformation projects, overseeing cross-functional teams, and ensuring timely and successful delivery.

Support localisation activities for VAT, GST, sales and use tax, e-invoicing and other country specific tax or digital reporting obligations.

Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to verify application of tax requirements.

Review and validation of tax-related solutions, including indirect tax engines and Oracle EPM modules (e.g. PCM, FCC, ARC and Tax Reporter).

Collaborate with stakeholders on the development and execution of tax technology and process roadmaps for direct and indirect tax aligning technology solutions with overall business goals.

Identify opportunities to automate manual tasks, enhance tax processes using automation tools (e.g. AI, RPA, Power BI, Alteryx) and manage implementation of solutions.

Partner with external vendors and consultants to optimize tax automation where required.

Contribute to the continuous development and documentation of standardized tax processes, system controls, and governance frameworks. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in tax technology, including artificial intelligence and automation.

Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.

Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience

Required:

Accounting and / or tax qualification.

8+ years of experience in tax technology with a combination of both direct & indirect tax in a multinational environment or with Big 4 firms .

5+ years of manager level experience.

Microsoft 365 and Oracle Fusion experience.

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.

Subject to the absolute discretion of the company, this role may be eligible for an annual cash bonus payment based on company, business unit, and/or individual performance.

At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is:

Total Base Pay Range

$137,000.00 - $205,000.00 USD Annual USD Annual

For remote positions located outside of the US, pay will be determined based the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.
