As the Senior Manager, Talent Systems Advocacy, you will lead the charge in transforming hiring practices by advocating for skills-based hiring and alternative pathways. You'll develop and implement strategic advocacy objectives, influencing decision-makers and shaping policies to create equitable opportunities. Your day-to-day will involve engaging with stakeholders, crafting compelling narratives, and driving systemic change. This role offers the chance to be a catalyst for social impact and build a more inclusive workforce.
This role is remote eligible, which means you would work virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location.
What you’ll doDevelop and execute advocacy strategies to promote skills-based hiring. Influence policymakers and decision-makers to adopt equitable hiring practices. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and advocacy partners. Conduct research and analyze data to support advocacy efforts. Create compelling narratives and communication materials to advance advocacy goals.Basic qualifications6 years experience in advocacy or policy analysis & development, especially with a systems change focus6 years research and data interpretation6 years demonstrated ability to influence decision-makers 6 years experience stakeholder mapping and engagementStrong communication and presentation skillsPreferred qualificationsKnowledge of talent systems and hiring practicesExperience in legislative advocacy or government relationsExperience in developing and implementing strategic advocacy campaigns
