**What you’ll be doing**
Reporting to the Sr. Director, Strategy & Initiatives, the Sr. Manager supports the design, development and execution of new strategies (including client segmentation) to drive client acquisition and client engagement. Where appropriate, the role helps to support strategy roll out and cross-product initiatives along with the respective Product, Channel and other stakeholders. The role maintains muti-year roadmaps, supports continuous improvements of the broader team and monitors key macro trends, industry best practices and the competitive environment to inform client and segmentation strategy. This is a highly collaborative role with exposure across the bank that requires an understanding of the strategy, use of research and data to identify opportunities and make recommendations, and stakeholder collaboration.

**How you’ll succeed**
+ **Strategy** – Support the identification of opportunities and development of client strategies to drive acquisition, growth and engagement. Maintain a multi-year strategic roadmap, leading cross-functional ideation and strategy sessions. Understand the strengths and opportunities facing the business; utilize business knowledge to ensure initiatives remain aligned to strategies and objectives.
+ **Research and data analysis** – Support internal and external research and data analysis to identify and evaluate potential opportunities, stay abreast of key trends, industry developments, client needs and regulatory changes. Understand the linkages between research/data and strategic goals.
+ **Cross-functional collaboration & relationship building** - Partner with stakeholders from across CIBC to support client growth and experience focused strategic initiatives. Support engagements with stakeholders to solicit input into the development of new opportunities.
+ **Opportunity sizing/business casing** – Support data analysis and quantitative assessments of opportunities. Support the preparations of financial business cases in partnership with the analytics department to assess the feasibility of potential strategic opportunities, which may include discounted cash flow, net present value, clients acquired, and payback time.
+ **Execution/implementation** – Support and help drive implementation initiatives - orchestrating work packages across various partners, managing budgets, reviews, approvals, etc.
