**ABOUT YOUR ROLE:**
_You will be leading the sourcing team_ _and_ _ _ _Leading medium to long term sourcing strategy and supplier development_ _, in the production country to create strong vendor partnerships, ensuring that all products are developed on time and in line with the brand’s creative and strategic direction. _
_You will work with the Asia Product Supply Sourcing team in the hub, to create the sourcing strategy, for your production country. _
**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:**
_(_ _but_ _not limited to)_
+ _Managing vendor partnerships, ensuring performance that supports the product development processes of the brands _
+ _To formulate sourcing strategies, propose alternatives in meeting end to end Supply Chain_ _objectives_ _, ensuring quality and_
+ _Build supply pipelines through sourcing and incorporate strategic dimensions and capabilities of suppliers, emphasis on quality management practices, process capabilities, design and development, and cost reduction capabilities into the decision-making process._
+ _Effectively breaks down functional work plan into detailed work activities, ensures the team is fully aware of their respective roles & responsibilities_
+ _Enhancing and advocating for vendors’ capabilities and use of_ _new technologies_ _, to drive innovation of process and product _
+ _Communicating proactively with Asia Hub stakeholders, product development and design teams to build and adhere to a product development calendar that enables best in class on time samples, _ _execution_ _ and delivery._
+ _Communicating proactively with stakeholders, when there_ _are_ _development concerns raised – and provide solutions where possible, to rectify, whilst_ _maintaining_ _set calendar dates_
+ _Collaboration with all ‘in country’ internal stakeholders across Production, Global Material Supply, Compliance, Responsible Sourcing, Product Stewardship, Logistics and Quality teams to ensure the Delivery of all set KPIs._
+ _Fostering and role modeling a culture of inclusion, _ _candor_ _ and trust. _
+ _Support all associates in the team, to ensure they create and drive their individual development plans – and develop a regular cadence of review. _
+ _Challenge the status quo by adopting a creative and curious style that can drive continuous improvement _
+ _Participate in company-wide initiatives to promote VF purpose activation and to improve VF Asia Product Supply systems and processes. _
**WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:**
+ _Knowledge of apparel – with proven experience in development of knitted and woven _ _product_ _ and managing a diverse product collection._
+ _You will be coaching and developing your team, providing _ _timely_ _ constructive feedback enabling them to excel and realize their potential. _
+ _Proven leadership experience in managing multi-cultural teams and ability to influence stakeholders on a global level to advance business goals._
+ _A basic understanding of paper patterns creation and an understanding of digital product creation will be an advantage. _

**EDUCATION / WORK EXPERIENCE**
+ _Academic_ _Degree_ _. Textile_ _,_ _Apparel_ _or related field_ _Preferred._
+ _Working_ _Experience_ _7 to 10_ _years_ _related to sourcing_ _._
+ _Supervisory_ _management_ _exposure will be an_ _advantage_
+ _Language Proficiency:_ _Good communication_ _skills in English. Local language_ _proficiency_ _will be an advantage._
+ _Exposure to digital platforms for developing_ _product, driving_ _process_ _efficiency_ _will be a huge advantage_
