The role is responsible for leading and charting the course for the Research & Development (R&D) Informatics engineering teams that build, maintain, and integrate R&D technology capabilities for Biological Studies, Omics, Small Molecule Discovery, and Large Molecule Discovery. This individual will be responsible for developing and leading a highly talented team that is built for delivering high-end and innovative technologies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership in technology-driven environments that collect data and facilitate R&D activities, and has a passion for fostering innovation and excellence in the biotechnology industry. Additionally, collaboration with cross-functional and global teams is required to ensure seamless integration and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the end-to-end software development lifecycle, evaluation and coaching of software/data/systems engineers and engineering managers, coupled with leadership and transformation experience.
