The Software Solutions group creates and supports customer-facing technology. The department applies best practices and innovative technology to stakeholder and business issues to find solutions that maximize investment value.

The Senior Manager, Software Delivery is responsible for leading and coordinating the activities of multiple Software Development Managers and their teams to ensure consistent delivery of scalable, secure, and innovative software solutions. A key function of this role is to drive a culture of software quality and ensure robust testing, code reviews, and development practices are embedded throughout the software development lifecycle. This role focuses on people management, process improvement, and aligning software delivery strategies with broader business and technology goals.

Job Details

Lead, coach, and develop a team of Software Development Managers, fostering a high-performance and growth-oriented culture

Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of software solutions by aligning team efforts with business priorities and project timelines

Implement and continuously improve software delivery processes, agile methodologies, and standards across multiple teams

Collaborate with the Director, Solutions Delivery and Agile PMO to align strategic goals, roadmaps, and delivery execution

Drive team performance using data and KPIs to ensure optimal output, code quality, and business value delivery

Identify resource needs, skill gaps, and support talent acquisition and career development initiatives

Champion software quality initiatives, including test automation, peer code reviews, defect prevention, and continuous integration practices

Qualifications

Required Qualifications & Experience: To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field15+ years in software development, with 8+ years in management rolesStrong background in agile methodologies and team leadershipProven experience implementing software quality assurance practices across distributed teamsDemonstrated success in leading multi-team software delivery environments

Desired Qualifications: To be considered an ideal candidate, you should possess some or all of the following qualifications:

Master’s degree in Business or Technology20+ years of software development experience with 10+ years in a management roleExperience scaling agile and DevOps practices across multiple teamsExperience leading quality engineering or test automation initiativesSCRUM or SAFE certification
