Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/innovative-medicine **Purpose:** As the Senior Manager of Social Impact, you will lead the design and implementation of impactful programs and partnerships that align with our mission to improve the well-being of patients and the local communities surrounding our campuses. **Key Responsibilities:** **Local Grantmaking & Partnering** The primary focus of this job share is to lead a portfolio of strategic grantmaking programs within our local communities. + Cultivate relationships in the communities we serve, fostering collaborations aligned with strategy. + Lead local grantmaking efforts, including reviewing and assessing grant proposals and making funding recommendations against established criteria. + Monitor grant performance through metrics tracking and reporting, developing strategies to address challenges and recommendations to increase impact. + Enhance J&J reputation through proactive storytelling and communication of our social impact endeavors. + Represent J&J at events in NJ and PA (in or near Trenton, NJ and Philadelphia, PA). **Leadership** + Supervise and mentor Social Impact Fellow position and stretch assignees to achieve departmental goals. **Other Responsibilities:** This position will also provide coverage, when needed, of these areas led by your job share partner: + Lead and implement a range of employee giving and volunteer initiatives throughout North America that resonate with Our Credo values, boosting engagement, retention, and the overall employee experience. + Lead all aspects of a grant program that empowers health advocates in their efforts to serve patient communities, collaborating closely with both external and internal partners. **Qualifications / Requirements:** **Education:** + Bachelor’s degree required **Required Skills:** + 8+ years of business-related experience with proven relationship-building skills. + Ability to create, implement, and operationalize vision and strategy. + Strong project management skills with a process-focused approach. + Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on results. + Experience managing budgets and navigating a compliance-rich environment. + Outstanding communication and presentation skills (verbal and written). + Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). **Preferred Skills:** + Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or related fields. + Background in Communications, Public Affairs, or Public Health. + Familiarity with electronic granting systems + Prior social impact experience. **Other Information:** This role is based in Titusville, NJ and may require up to 20% travel for community engagement activities in the NJ/PA region. Attendance at events outside of regular work hours is expected. The anticipated base pay range for this position is $60,000 to $103,500. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
