Senior Manager, Shared Services Global Sales Operations

Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and results-oriented leader to expand our Sales Operations Shared Services team. This critical role will be responsible for establishing and managing centralized functions that support our global sales organization across all assigned regions (Americas, APAC, EMEA). This role requires a strategic thinker with strong operational experience, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to build and scale global teams.

 

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Team Building:

Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Global Sales Operations Shared Services function, aligning with overall Sales Operations and business objectives.

Build, mentor, and manage multiple sales operations disciplines including customer data management, pricing, sales performance reporting and sales technology support.

Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and service level agreements (SLAs) for the Shared Services teams.

Drive continuous improvement within the Shared Services function, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and effectiveness.

Customer Data Management:

Build the execution and support team that supports customer data management across all relevant systems (e.g. CRM, ERP).

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the customer data management team, including data cleansing, enrichment, deduplication, and standardization processes.

Collaborate with regional Sales Operations teams, cross functional data excellence teams and IT to ensure data integration and integrity across various platforms.

Support the implementation of and utilize tools and technologies to support effective customer data management.

Global Sales Performance Reporting:

Collaborate with global analytics team to standardize global sales performance reporting frameworks, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) in collaboration with regional Sales Operations teams.

Oversee the development and delivery of timely, accurate, and insightful sales reports to various stakeholders, including regional sales leadership.

Manage the datamarts and tools necessary for global sales performance reporting, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.

Identify trends and provide actionable insights based on sales performance data to support strategic decision-making.

Regional Support & Collaboration:

Serve as the primary point of contact within Global Sales Operations for shared service functions across all assigned regions (Americas, APAC, EMEA).

Collaborate closely with regional Sales Operations leaders to understand their specific needs and ensure the Shared Services teams are providing effective support.

Facilitate communication and knowledge sharing between the global Shared Services teams and regional Sales Operations teams.

Ensure global consistency in data management and reporting processes while allowing for necessary regional nuances.


Let’s talk about Qualifications and Experience

Required:

Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in Sales Operations

Demonstrated experience building and leading high-performing teams, preferably in a global, shared services environment.

Strong understanding of CRM systems, data management principles, and sales performance metrics.

Proven ability to develop and implement data governance policies and reporting frameworks.

Experience with data warehousing and BI tools is essential.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.   

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.   

Experience working with and supporting global teams across different time zones and cultures.

Preferred:

Experience both leading established sales operations shared services and building new sales operations shared services teams.

Direct experience overseeing data management and sales performance reporting.

Experience with specific CRM and BI platforms relevant to the company's technology stack.

Consulting and project management experience.
