What will you do?

The Senior Manager, Sales Compensation, will be a key member of the Sales Operations team and provide sales operations leadership for PSG to develop, implement, and handle strategy and processes for successful commercialization focused on sales force incentive design, management, and sales rewards and recognition programs. This individual supports the execution of initiatives and projects to drive the commercial sales organization to success within defined strategies and objectives. Additionally, they will also have strong discernment, analytical skills, and the ability to work/influence in a cross-functional environment. Lastly, this role will support the governance and administration of quarterly and annual sales incentive compensation, including the administration of target setting, territory alignments, exception processes, and plan modeling. 

Key Responsibilities:      

Lead the annual planning cycle. Lead annual discussions with various customers, such as executive leadership, sales management, and human resources, to understand the overall sales strategy to ensure a sales incentive plan (SIP) design that is built to deliver on that strategyMaintain an in-depth understanding of all sales incentive plans across the sales organization and be able to effectively communicate rationale, strategy, and calculationsAdministrator: Lead rollout of SIP plans and respective elements, overall SIP plan administration, and payouts in a timely mannerAnalytics: Analyze sales metrics and performance data to identify trends and insights.Drive continuous improvement. Experience in identifying & implementing process improvement opportunities. Continually evaluate our Sales Compensation business processes with an eye toward scalability, streamlining, automation, efficiency gains, data accuracy, and business process controls.Identify and develop, deployment, and improvement of technology solutions that handle the compensation process, including territory/account level and service level sales targetsCommunicate and support the sales team's understanding of sales compensation opportunities and toolsAssist sales leaders with understanding the impact of comp and forecasting decisions on individualsContinuously review and evaluate existing processes, procedures, and reports to ensure accuracyOverall, responsible for the support of the incentive compensation within the scope of the PSG field sales team, which includes administration, reporting, compensation data quality, and maintenance. Ensure all documentation and processes align with applicable policies and governance

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experienceA minimum 7+ years of management in Sales, Sales Operations, or Sales Compensation Management roles+3 years in Sales Compensation experience, preferred.  Prior experience with Xactly Sales Incentive platform, preferredGlobal experience/ability to work across various regions, strongly preferred. Must possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively across organizational levels and functionsExperience working with dynamic sales teams. Ability to work in a cross-functional environment and deliver changesExcellent written and verbal interactive skills, including the ability to work with executive leadership, sales management, team, peers, other teams, and partners. Ability to communicate across all levels of an organizationStrong orientation toward data management, data governance, and process improvement.Can disseminate information effectively and supply regular updates to key partners.Demonstrated knowledge of compensation planning and administration.Must be exceptionally diligent with strong analytical skills.Able to work independently, multi-task, and maintain focus on the goals at hand.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in North Carolina is $118,100.00–$160,000.00.
