Title: Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting

Location: Atlanta (Onsite)

This is an opportunity to join a dynamic Company in a key role within the Corporate Controllership. We’re looking for an energetic, team player with a strong background gained in public accounting and/or corporate accounting role. This role will have great visibility to executives and exposure across multiple functions within the company (accounting/finance/sales/legal/operations).

Key Areas of Responsibility

Review customer contracts to ensure compliance with US GAAP and NCR accounting policiesAnalyze and understand various product/service offerings and related revenue streams to ensure proper revenue recognitionMaster understanding of end to end quote to cash revenue cycle processes across the business.Provide oversight, guidance and training on revenue recognition to various functional groups across the CompanyFacilitate communications and testing by our external auditorsPerform annual pricing study to determine standalone selling price of all products and servicesReview significant account balances and analyze monthly/quarterly/annual fluctuations in revenue and revenue-related accountsDevelop, maintain, and administer financial and operational policies related to revenue recognition to support strong internal controlsMake process improvement recommendations regarding policies and procedures

Basic Qualifications:

Undergraduate Degree in Accounting or FinanceLicensed CPA10+ years’ experience in public accounting and/or corporate accounting environmentStrong working knowledge of US GAAP with experience on ASC 606 Revenue from Contracts with Customers and the ability to apply relevant guidance to complex transactionsWell organized, detail-oriented team player with proven ability to multitask effectively and work independentlyStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to present accounting rules and guidance in non-technical terms for non-financial professionalsKnowledge of business systems and Microsoft Office applications
