Senior Manager, Regulatory Change

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Risk & Compliance team at Marsh McLennan. This role can be based in anywhere in Australia. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

Lead the proactive identification and assessment, and support implementation of regulatory changes impacting the organization’s operations across all MMC entities, including investments, superannuation, insurance, and consulting.Develop and execute the Regulatory Change Framework, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards while providing expert advice for compliance with new regulatory requirements.Conduct preliminary impact analyses to assess the implications of new regulations on processes, policies, and overall business strategy, while collaborating with key internal stakeholders to gather insights and feedback.Establish monitoring mechanisms to track the implementation of regulatory changes and ensure ongoing compliance, including preparing reports for senior management on regulatory affairs.Act as a coach and mentor for team members, fostering a robust risk culture and contributing to the overall priorities of the Pacific Risk & Compliance function.

What you need to have:

University-level qualifications in finance, law, commerce, business administration, public policy, risk, or equivalent.Experience in governance, regulatory compliance, or legal areas, particularly within the financial services sector in Australia, New Zealand, or the United Kingdom.Strong understanding of compliance frameworks and the ability to provide strategic advice to senior executives and Board stakeholders.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to analyze and communicate complex matters effectively.
