The Senior Manager of Recruiting is responsible for leading the organization’s talent acquisition strategy and overseeing the recruitment team to attract, engage, and hire top talent. This role combines leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on execution to build a high-performing recruiting function that supports the organization’s workforce goals. The Senior Manager partners with HR and business leaders to ensure hiring practices are effective, equitable, and aligned with organizational priorities. Minimum Qualifications · Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.· Minimum of 8 – 10 years of progressive recruitment experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or people management role.· Proven success leading recruitment strategy and operations in a complex, multi-functional organization.
· A thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, applicable policies, and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations is required. Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP/SCP) preferred.Experience in higher education, healthcare, or mission-driven sectors is strongly preferred.Familiarity with executive search processes and workforce planning. Job Duties

Description of Job Duty Key Responsibilities:· Lead and manage a team of recruiters and recruiting coordinators to deliver full-cycle recruitment services across the organization.· Develop and execute enterprise-wide recruiting strategies to meet short-and long-term workforce needs.· Partner with senior leadership and HR colleagues to forecast hiring needs, define talent profiles, and align recruitment plans with organizational goals.· Implement and refine recruitment processes, metrics, and tools to drive efficiency, quality, and candidate experience.· Champion inclusivity in recruitment strategies, sourcing, and outreach efforts.· Oversee the use and optimization of recruiting technology and systems (e.g., ATS, sourcing platforms) in collaboration with HRIS.· Build and manage relationships with external partners, including search firms, job boards, and recruitment marketing vendors.· Monitor performance metrics and provide regular reporting and insights to HR and executive leadership.· Stay current on labor market trends, talent acquisition innovations, and compliance requirements.· Support and coach recruiters on complex searches, candidate assessment, and stakeholder engagement.

Stakeholder Collaboration and Relationship Management: Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs and anticipate future hiring demands. Provide coaching and guidance to hiring managers on the candidate selection process and interview best practices. Coach and compose interview panels to support a structured and equitable interview process. Serve as the primary point of contact for recruitment vendors, managing relationships to handle surge capacity as needed. Build long-term relationships with candidates, acting as an ambassador for the institution and promoting our employer brand.

Onboarding and Process Improvement: Collaborate with colleagues and hiring teams to ensure a smooth and positive onboarding experience for new hires. Continuously analyze and improve recruitment processes to reduce time-to-fill and increase the quality of hires. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure compliance with recruitment policies and legal requirements.

Metrics and Reporting: Track key recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, candidate satisfaction, and diversity hiring. Provide regular updates and insights to leadership on recruitment progress, challenges, and outcomes. Use data and feedback to refine sourcing strategies and improve candidate experience.
