About the Role

You will be part of the Group Rewards and HR Governance function in the Rewards Solutions and Advisory team which manages our performance and rewards framework and policies to ensure they deliver competitive, fair and compliant solutions to support AIA’s strategy. You will be the point of contact for any performance management related matters and work independently with all our business units to manage the annual performance management cycle. You will also partner with the entity rewards teams and HR Business Partners to provide advisory on compensation & benefits matters. In addition, you will support strategic performance and rewards initiatives to drive impactful performance and rewards using data-driven insights.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Performance Management

Lead the end-to-end management of Performance Management including:

You are the contact person for entity rewards teams on any performance management related issues and manage the global performance management network throughout the year.

You conduct regular framework and process reviews to ensure alignment with strategic and operational objectives, continuous improvement including user experience, strengthening of governance and driving efficiencies by exploring technology solution including AI solutions and by staying abreast and considering trends and market practice. 

You manage the annual performance management cycle including goal setting, mid-year and year-end review in close partnership with the Group People Digital & Insights (GPDI), ensuring timely and effective delivery including hosting of huddle sessions with Group-wide performance management community, updating related documents, identifying opportunities for enhancements, etc.

Rewards Advisory

Provide advisory on C&B related matters for your assigned portfolio.

On the “BAU” side, you partner with the entity rewards and HR Business Partners on compensation & benefits matters as the primary contact person for selected entities and provide advice on job evaluation, support on market benchmarking queries, review and support on senior management hiring and separation proposals and other compensation and benefits topics.

On the “CHANGE” side, you will drive change management and communication for the selected entities on any updated performance & rewards guidelines and processes and address questions from the broader rewards teams.

Strategic Rewards Initiatives

Contribute to strategic rewards initiatives and leverage data analytics to enhance programme design, insights and decision making

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to socialise proposed performance and rewards enhancements and secucre alignment and buy-in.

Support the communication and execution of strategic rewards initiatives.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Minimum 10 years relevant experience in compensation & benefits, preferably with experience in performance management

Strong conceptual, analytical skills and problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to multi-task and contribute in a fast-paced working environment

Strong project management skills with a focus on execution and on outcomes, applying a practical and commercial sense.

Strong change management, communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and build and sustain partnerships

Strong integrity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality

Proficiency in HR systems in particular Workday modules including performance, advanced compensation and core compensation user experiences modules , data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite

Take responsibility and support assigned portfolio whilst having very strong teamwork capabilities

English mandatory, Mandarin is a plus.
