Summary
The Senior Manager, Real Estate Program Management (SPM) is responsible for the strategic and operational oversight of a large real estate portfolio related to telecommunications infrastructure (switching centres, cell towers, technical buildings, offices, etc.). He or she leads a team of program managers and plans, executes and optimizes complex programs, in alignment with the company’s business, technology and regulatory objectives. Prepares and manages the capital plan that includes a high-level 3-year plan and detailed program for the upcoming year.
Key Responsibilities Lead, coach and engage a team of program managers responsible for planning various real estate projects across the country. Oversee all programs related to the acquisition, construction, renovation, compliance and management of critical real estate assets for the telecom network. Ensure consistency, performance and quality of deliverables across the various programs managed by the team. Define strategic priorities, build load plans and allocate resources based Position operational needs. Implement governance, accountability and performance management processes for the team. Work closely with Network, IT, Engineering, Operations, Legal and Finance teams. Manage relationships with external stakeholders (municipalities, suppliers, technical partners). Track overall budgets (CAPEX/OPEX), timelines and program performance indicators. Contribute to the long-term real estate strategy, in line with technological evolution (5G, fibre, edge computing) and sustainability objectives. Critical Qualifications Bachelor's degree in property management, electrical or mechanical engineering, architecture, urban planning or related field (Master's degree is an asset). 10 years of experience managing real estate projects or programs, at least 5 of which are technical or industrial. Demonstrated experience in team management and multi-faceted leadership Thorough knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure and associated regulatory requirements. Proficiency with project and portfolio management tools (MS Project, Procore, Archibus, etc.). Excellent communication, change management and complex problem solving skills. Additional Requirements PMP, PgMP, FCR or FMA certification. Experience managing critical assets (data centers, technical facilities). Knowledge of environmental and sustainability standards (LEED, ISO 14001). Bilingual (English and French).
Adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
