Job Description:

Accountable for the end-to-end delivery of the Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) capital and xVA roadmaps across TD Securities in a fast paced, dynamic, and constantly evolving environment

Accountable for key delivery decisions and aligning technology and business objectives into a shared delivery vision. Delivery decision includes assessment of multiple stakeholder impacts.

Keep abreast of emerging issues, risks, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts in alignment with risk appetite

Provide leadership guidance to the team and stakeholders to build effective relationships that support business goals and to ensure the team possesses a strong understanding of the end-to-end customer vision and solution approach while following change management, project-level delivery framework, and governance best practices (e.g. Rapid/ TD Agile: cycle measurements, daily scrums, retrospectives, sprint planning, testing, MVP mapping to releases); (e.g. PDLC: requirements package, change management plan, testing plan, control processes for scope/requirements change)

Lead and grow a high performing team; provide people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals and objectives, developing staff, managing employee performance, and promoting teamwork

Create, oversee, and maintain comprehensive delivery management artifacts, as required by governance standards, to achieve business objectives

Use negotiation and influencing skills to build consensus amongst diverse stakeholder groups to ensure deliverables are met and our partners, sponsors, and businesses make effective business decisions

Work closely with business stakeholders at all levels to understand and execute business priorities whilst ensuring a high-level of service to end users with performance and system operational stability

Transform high level vision (target operating model) and complex concepts into solutions with detailed requirements and efficient execution design

Anticipates and manages resolution of issues and risks effectively and, if required, ensures timely resolution and escalation of the issues and risks

Develops effective and efficient solutions by researching and analyzing data and requirements, defining opportunities for business process improvements, and making recommendations

Ensure initiatives are delivered based on meeting the stated success criteria and product(s) value realization, with explicit consideration to business process, change impacts and the transition from delivery to business as usual

Supports Executive Sponsor and Business Owner in structuring and securing approval for business case and funding

Establishes and manages resource plan, issues, risks, budget, and financial plans to support roadmaps

Coordinates with the respective enterprise control partners (e.g., EPDE, Strategic Sourcing Group, Legal, TRMIS, OCDO. etc.) to appropriately select, engage and manage external service providers as required

Job Requirements:

Wholesale Banking, Capital Markets experience, strong understanding of financial markets, credit risk, and experience with Derivatives

Experience with Counterparty Credit Risk Capital and/or xVA

Experience with capital regulations, Capital Adequacy Requirements (CAR) – Chapter 8, Basel regulations (SA-CVA, BA-CVA, SA-CCR, RWA, EAD), 'x' Valuation Adjustments (ie: CVA, FVA, etc), and P&L attribution trading is an asset

10+ years related experience, working in a project environment, in large organizations - Advanced knowledge of change management principles, industry best practices, project management

Strong business analysis, requirements gathering, end to end delivery experience

Experience overseeing end to end test strategy/execution across multiple groups and systems

Vendor management experience

Experience maintaining and overseeing budget, forecasting, resource management, and program artifacts

Strong communication and organizational skills, ability to prioritize work, while meeting multiple deadlines and providing strategic recommendations

Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem solving skills, with ability to summarize and articulate complex topics

Relevant Change Management Accreditations are an asset

Industry certification (e.g. CFA, CSC, FRM) preferred

Experience working with REST APIs and JSON

Effective leader with ability to build relationships and influence all parties across multiple groups

Proficient in conflict resolution and comfortable working with technical and business teams

Ability to document requirements and conduct User Acceptance Testing, including designing tests, develop detailed test cases and test plans and documenting results

Passion to succeed and results oriented, drive for continuous improvement

Flexible and able to quickly adapt to unfamiliar, ambiguous, or changing conditions

Specific Education Requirements:

University or graduate degree in mathematics, finance, or related field
