Senior Manager, Production

The Senior Manager, Production leads the production team while developing and ensuring sustainable manufacturing excellence measured through clearly defined objectives and targets in terms of SHE, quality, service, costs and asset utilization. He/she will develop a performance driven culture and ensure the highest level of cross-functional efficiency with other Operations departments and Enablers.

 

Your key responsibilities

Ensure timely and effective resolution/report closure of SHE and Quality incidents/non-conformancesEnsure risk assessments are conducted for all routine activities and SOPs aligned with these risk assessments are in place and refreshed at regular intervalsWork with staff to continuously identify SHE and quality risks and improvements opportunities by conducting frequent audits and improving SOPsResponsible for staff selection, training, development, coaching, retention and employee motivation. Also responsible for building an effective team in terms of leadership and performance focus and ensuring succession plans are in placeLead the team in achieving departmental KPIs targets and drive continuous improvement effortsBuild a strong team player relationship with fellow operational heads to meet the business requirements, and play an active role in building constructive relationship with labor unionsDevelop budgets (CAPEX and OPEX) and approve expenditures for supplies, materials, and human resources, ensuring that materials, labor and equipment are used efficiently to meet production targets
