About Global Product and Design within Streaming and Games

Central to the mission of the Streaming and Games Team, the Global Product and Design group is responsible for the global streaming platform that supports all the video products our fans love. We plan, design and build for connected TVs, web, mobile phones, tablets, and consoles for a large footprint of leading products and brands (Max, HBO Max, discovery+, Food Network, CNN, Golf TV, MotorTrend, Eurosport, and many more) and together with our cross-functional collaborators we operate as one company with one mission to be the premier media and entertainment leader globally.

About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Manager, Product Management to join our Growth team leading the end-to-end Messaging experience team for Max. You will drive efforts across Off-platform communications such as Transactional Emails & Push Notifications, to On-platform efforts such as In-app messages and the Notification Feed.

As a member of our Growth team, your core mission is to drive growth by educating our customers about new content, features, and functionality that will delight & engage them. In this role, you will collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to craft a strategy, craft delightful experiences, and drive features to execution. You will work hand-in-hand with Engineering, Design, and Marketing. You will own the Consumer Messaging roadmap and communicate on behalf of the team with stakeholders and leadership. We are seeking a systems thinker who acts like an owner with a sharp focus on the customer. Responsibilities

Set Vision & Strategy: Define and own the overarching consumer messaging strategy, partnering with Engineering, Design, Product, and Marketing to deliver informative and delightful user experiences.Leadership & Team Development: Oversee a team of Product Managers, guiding them in setting and achieving ambitious goals. Actively coach and mentor, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.Cross Functional Collaboration: Work closely with partners across Design, Engineering, Marketing, and Analytics to develop a cohesive Messaging Vision & Strategy. Partner with cross-functional leaders to establish planning mechanisms and prioritize initiatives on an ongoing basis.Measuring Success: Establish KPIs, OKRs, and documentation for all aspects of the Consumer Messaging experience.Stakeholder Management & Communication: Communicate progress, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership and other stakeholders, advocating for the consumer messaging vision & trade-offs.Off-Platform Communications: Lead the strategic development and execution of transactional emails and push notifications.On-Platform Communications: Oversee in-app messaging experiences and the notification feed to drive user engagement and retention.

Qualifications

8+ years of experience in product management and/or software deliveryProven Leadership: Demonstrated ability to collaborate with large cross-functional teams to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.Detail Oriented: Strong attention to detail and proven track record of driving process improvements.Outstanding Communication Skills: You have excellent written and oral communication skills.Technical Acumen: Familiarity with the architecture of messaging systems and CRMs, along with a solid understanding of software engineering concepts.Industry Expertise: Familiarity with CRM systems & other messaging surfaces is preferred. Experience with Direct-to-consumer video and streaming subscription products is a plus.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $126,350.00 - $234,650.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
