Sr. Manager – Color Execution

As a Sr. Manager of Color Trend, you will be responsible for identifying color trends and creating color palettes exclusively for Private Brands. These color strategies will support the Walmart Apparel and GM Strategic Business Units (SBU) and overarching merchandising goals.
You will assure that Walmart’s private brand DNA/guidelines for color trends, development and execution all support the customer’s needs and lead the market. You will be responsible for setting the brand’s seasonal color direction and align with broader Walmart strategies. You’ll help ensure brand leads and merchant leadership are aligned with the seasonal color trend direction.
You’ll sweep us off our feet if:
You have deep knowledge of fabric construction, production, printing, dyeing, washing techniques, and testing.You understand and know how to build and bridge seasonal color palettes that focus on the specific needs across fashion apparel.Intimate knowledge of dyeing including processes, dyes and chemicalsYou are data savvy: you can utilize software to develop palettes into digital color cards that aid in supplier product execution, shade band tolerance, and speed to market.You are omni channel customer-focused: You make must be able to develop color solutions with a customer-centric approach while working with PD or Brand leads to understanding customer behavior across categories.Strong understanding of merchandising, product development, and garment construction.Ability to assess mill capabilities and direct development to the most suitable resources.Excellent organizational, communication, follow-up, and presentation skills.Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Significant knowledge of running a digital color processStrong sense of urgency, accuracy, and problem-solving with a creative approach.Effective cross-functional collaboration with Design, Quality Assurance, Buying, Sourcing, and overseas teams.You are tenacious, dedicated and thrive working with ownership, and autonomyYou have previous dye experience, understanding how to translate color by substrateBenefits & Perks:

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
