As a Senior Manager, People at Walmart, you’ll be a strategic advisor and hands-on partner to some of Walmart’s most influential global functions. This is a dynamic role for a seasoned People Partner who thrives in complexity, can influence at the executive level, and is passionate about shaping the workforce of the future. You’ll design and execute people strategies, drive organizational change, and enable leaders to deliver results that impact thousands of associates worldwide.

About the Team
Our People team partners across three enterprise-critical areas:
Global Procurement: Responsible for sourcing and supplier relationships across Walmart’s retail, eCommerce, corporate services, and technology needs. This team oversees billions in annual spend and enables Walmart to deliver value, quality, and innovation worldwide. You’ll help ensure Procurement has the talent, structure, and capabilities to thrive amid AI adoption, automation, and global complexity.
Global Internal Audit: Provides independent assurance and advisory services, helping Walmart manage risk, protect assets, and enable responsible growth. Audit plays a critical role in building a common language of risk across the company, especially as the business and regulatory landscape evolves. You’ll partner with Audit leaders to strengthen leadership pipelines, evolve skills for a tech-enabled future, and support organizational effectiveness.
Corporate Strategy: Includes Corporate Development & M&A, Enterprise Data Strategy, Strategic Partnerships, Tech Finance, and Strategy. These teams shape Walmart’s long-term direction and growth agenda, from acquisitions and partnerships to data-driven innovation and capital allocation. As their People Partner, you’ll help attract, develop, and retain top talent while driving organizational agility to support growth and transformation.

What You’ll Do
Lead HR strategy and execution for assigned business areas
Guide organizational change and talent development initiatives
Analyze HR and business data to inform decisions and drive improvements
Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies
Collaborate cross-functionally to support business priorities
What You’ll Bring
Experience as a people partner supporting complex, matrixed organizations
Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR analytics
Proven ability to drive organizational change and talent development
Expertise in data analysis and reporting tools
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
